The base uses 18 solid, unvarnished pine slats, each 19 mm thick. Gaps of approximately 4.5 cm give the mattress even support while allowing air to circulate underneath.
Secure attachment to the bed frame
Four mounting holes across the two outermost slats allow the base to be screwed to a suitably prepared bed frame, helping to prevent movement.
Connected by a durable webbing strap
Each of the 18 slats is attached to webbing that keeps them evenly spaced. The base can be rolled out for installation and rolled up for storage or transport.
