A sleeping function without compromise

The futon mattress used in our convertible sofas is not a thin, temporary sleeping pad. It is a full-size mattress with a thickness of approximately 14-18 cm, filled with layers of cotton, coconut fiber, or latex. It provides even spinal support without sinking in the middle.

Transforming the sofa into a bed takes only a few seconds. Depending on the model, the mechanism may operate with a click-clack system (lifting the backrest into a sleeping position) or a pull-out design (sliding the mattress forward). No complicated rearranging of cushions or moving heavy frames.

Healthy sleep on natural materials

Sleeping on a futon is a Japanese tradition refined over generations. A firmer sleeping surface than a standard spring mattress helps support the spine’s natural alignment. No excessive sinking around the hips, no unnecessary neck tension.

Natural fillings such as cotton, coconut fiber, and latex allow the mattress to breathe. Without synthetic foams trapping heat and moisture, you wake up refreshed and comfortable rather than overheated or tired.
